Voicgen helps publishers, newsroom teams and businesses turn written content into high quality audio experiences.
We understand that customers, especially enterprise organisations, need clear information about how their content is processed, where data is handled, which vendors are used, and what security measures are in place.
This page explains how Voicgen approaches customer data processing, security, subprocessors, voice data, data retention and enterprise review requirements.
This page is provided for transparency and does not replace a signed agreement, Data Processing Agreement or other contractual terms between Voicgen and the customer.

AWS may be used to host application services, store generated audio files, manage technical logs, support backups and deliver content reliably to users.
AWS supports the infrastructure layer used by Voicgen to provide availability, scalability and secure service operations.
7. ElevenLabs
Voicgen uses ElevenLabs for AI voice generation and text to speech processing.
When a customer generates audio, article text may be sent to ElevenLabs so that it can be converted into spoken audio.
Where voice cloning or custom voice features are used, voice related data may also be processed by ElevenLabs.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights, permissions and consent to use any voice material submitted for voice cloning or custom voice generation.
8. Security measures
Voicgen applies technical and organisational measures designed to help protect customer data.
| Area | Measure |

9. Customer Data Separation and Security Risk Review
Customer Data Separation
Voicgen applies logical separation of customer data within its application and infrastructure environment. Access to customer data is controlled based on operational need, staff roles and responsibilities.
Voicgen aims to maintain appropriate separation between development, testing and production environments to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, accidental exposure or cross environment data handling issues.
Security Risk Review
Voicgen reviews security risks as part of its ongoing platform operations and product development process. This may include reviewing infrastructure configuration, access controls, vendor usage, data handling practices, incident response processes and application security controls.
Voicgen may engage independent external advisors, consultants or auditors to perform periodic reviews of its security practices. These reviews may include assessments aligned with recognised security frameworks, such as SOC 2 readiness reviews or SOC 2 certification audits.
Voicgen uses these reviews to identify security improvements, reduce operational risk and strengthen the technical and organisational measures used to protect customer data.
10. Data retention
Voicgen retains customer data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and support business operations.
Generated audio, transcripts and related metadata may be retained while the customer account or relevant content remains active.
Some information may also be retained in logs, backups, billing records or security records where required for legal, technical or operational purposes.
For enterprise customers, specific retention and deletion terms can be agreed in the customer agreement or Data Processing Agreement.

Where required, Voicgen relies on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards provided by its vendors and enterprise agreements.
Enterprise customers may request additional information about international data processing during vendor review.
13. Voice cloning and responsible AI
Voicgen supports AI audio generation and may support voice cloning or custom voice workflows for approved customers.
Customers must only submit voice material where they have the required rights, permissions and consent.
Voice cloning must not be used to impersonate individuals without permission, mislead audiences, create deceptive content, or violate applicable laws.
Voicgen may require verification before enabling voice cloning or custom voice features.
For enterprise customers, custom voice usage terms can be agreed before deployment.
14. Editorial control
Voicgen is designed to support professional publishing workflows.
Customers can generate audio from written content and review the output before using it on their website.
